Anniversary Scholarship
A scholarship is available to support young singers in their vocal development. This initiative is an expression of the choir’s commitment to nurture and support young singers in the field of choral music.
The 2024 recipient of The Graduate Choir NZ Anniversary Choral Scholarship is Dev Murugian – a 17-year-old engineering student at the University of Auckland and the first countertenor to audition for Grads in many years. Since joining the choir in February 2024, Dev has already made a significant impact, and his successful scholarship audition highlights his dedication and vocal talent. Supported by the Trust Board of The Graduate Choir New Zealand, this scholarship will provide Dev with a year of voice lessons from James Harrison.
We are now inviting applications for our 2025 scholarship! Please see our scholarship Terms & Conditions here.
